During the initial design phase, target properties-such as strength, softness, moisture absorption, or elasticity-are defined based on the intended use of the final product, followed by the selection of suitable fiber types to achieve these goals.

 

Key considerations during the design process include fiber compatibility and synergistic effects. Differences in fiber length, fineness, rigidity, and moisture regain directly impact blend uniformity and yarn quality. Consequently, designers optimize the yarn structure by adjusting blend ratios and selecting appropriate spinning technologies (such as ring spinning or rotor spinning) to ensure stable fiber integration and the effective utilization of each fiber's specific advantages.

 

Blended yarn design also emphasizes a balance between functionality and cost-effectiveness. By incorporating lower-cost or high-performance functional fibers while still meeting performance requirements, a balance between quality and cost can be achieved.
