During the transportation of eco-friendly yarns, precautions must be taken to prevent moisture damage and contamination. As these yarns are typically made from recycled or natural fibers-materials relatively sensitive to environmental fluctuations-packaging must ensure a tight seal to prevent mold growth from dampness or the accumulation of dust. Humidity control inside shipping containers is particularly critical for maritime or long-distance transport; desiccants are often used when necessary to maintain a stable environment.

 

Efforts should be made to avoid crushing or excessive friction during transit. Eco-friendly yarns are usually packaged as yarn cones or bales; heavy pressure or improper stacking can cause deformation or loosen the fiber structure, thereby compromising the quality of subsequent weaving processes. Consequently, loading, unloading, and stacking procedures typically involve layered securing methods and height restrictions to ensure the cargo remains stable throughout the journey.

 

Proper classification and labeling are also essential for the transportation of eco-friendly yarns. Yarns of different materials or batches must be stored and transported separately to prevent batch mixing or incorrect usage. Outer packaging is generally clearly marked with composition details, batch numbers, and storage/transport requirements to facilitate traceability throughout the supply chain. Standardized transport management not only minimizes losses but also helps ensure consistent quality in subsequent production stages.
